DePaul has a hockey team?

To start things off, i would just like to answer the question that so many people seem to ask. Does DePaul have a hockey team? In fact, DePaul does have a hockey team. Even though the hockey team has yet to make a name for itself among the student population here at DePaul, the Demons have sure made their mark in the Acha, which is the collegiate club hockey league that they compete in. I have been on the DePaul team for 3 years now and the club has really grown since my first year. DePaul hockey is a club sport at the university, but is a sport that involves a lot more of the student athlete's time and commitment. Each week we have 2 practices and 2 games on the weekends, while also keeping up with conditioning in the gym. In the last 2 years the team has placed in a top 10 in the central division, which consists of around 5o teams. This year DePaul has remained at the #4 spot throughout the last 3 rankings and are well on there way to the quest for nationals. We hope to get some more fans out to the games and make the DePaul community more aware of there schools hockey team. For more information go to: WWW.DEPAULHOCKEY.COM
